Locality Sacramento Valley. Ca 14 air mi S of Yuba City, 0.2 mi SW of town of Rio Oso, near E edge of the Bear River ca. 2.5 mi upstream of its confluence with the Feather River. Nicolaus 7.5' Quad.
HabitatGrowing down center of grassy track along waterside toe of the south/east Bear River levee. Informal access road to revegetation site, in grassy band between narrow riparian strip and main levee.This grass not common here; track surrounded by mostly Avena, Bromus and non-native forbs such as Trifolium incarnatum.
