Locality Northern High Sierra Nevada. Southewestern end of rocky Ridge, 0.8 km west of Ponderosa Way / rim Road, near high-voltage power lines.
HabitatOpen rocky serpentine ridge top, more open than usual since the 2008 wildfire; lots of Eriodictyon californicum stump-sprouted, Frangula californica ssp tomentella, some Ceanothus cuneatus in places; near to a small isolated stand of McNab cypress (burned but lots of young trees).
