HabitatLacustrine and Fluvial deposits, silt loam, rapidly drained, palustrine; Herbage is dwarf and sparse. Pinus ponderosa is encroaching on the meadow in this is currently dry and recieves either full or afternoon a trough to 1 dm below t; Quercus kelloggii, Rumex, acetosella, Plagiobotrys toerryi var. terroyii, Elymus trachycaulus ssp. subsecundus, Bromus japonicus, Bromus ordeaceus, Lotus sp.
