Locality Northern High Sierra Nevada. Open serpentine bowl on west side of Concow Road about 3.2 mi northeast of the upper end of Concow Reservoir

HabitatOpen serpentine bowl. Very open, south-facing, rocky serpentine slope, generally dominated by manzanita and buckbrush, with scattered gray pine, Jeffrey pine, incense cedar. Common small clumps to 1 dm diameter; some places almost the dominant plant.
