Locality Northern High Sierra Nevada. Along Four Trees Road at crossing of South Branch Mill Creek (a tributary to North Fork Feather River); 2.7 air km east of Pulga Bridge (Hwy 70) over North Fork Feather River. On moist banks.
Elevation 823 m
HabitatDeep shady northwest draining creek; partial shade by mixed conifer forest with big-leaf maple, streamside dogwood, Pacific yew. Abundant on moist banks, with lots of Montia parvifolia, Carex bolanderi, Galium triflorum, Ranunculus uncinatus, Veronica americana. Petals small, pale yellow.
