Locality Small meadow, about 350 yards southwest of the cemetery, about 50 yards north of Oregon Gulch, about 10 miles (air) northeast of Oroville.

HabitatFoothill Woodland. Stems from a large rounded shrub 6 feet tall, on dry to damp granite soil, small meadow, bottom of an old gold mined area. Uncommon. Flowers rose.
