Locality North of Colfax, west side of Hwy I-80, north and south of Long Ravine railroad. Along Bad Rock road. Plants on roadsides and pullouts.
Elevation 670 m
Habitat350 plants. Plants on roadsides and pullouts in flat grassy openings and dry slopes facing east, some areas disturbed with lots of trash dumping and 4WD use. Mostly shaley soils. 0-50% slopes, little duff. Pseudotsuga menziesii, Pinus ponderosa, Quercus kelloggii, and Q. chrysolepis in overstory. Shrubs are Rubus discolor, toxicodendron diversilobum, and Ceanothus cuneatus. Associate herbs are Elymus flaucus, Cynosurus echinatus, Dactylis flomerata, Poa bulbosa, Collinsia tinctoria, Bromus hordeaceus, and Vulpia myuros.
