Associated plants include: Eriogonum elongatum, E. fasciculatum, Delphinium cardinale, Artemisia californica, Salvia ellifera, S. apiana, Malosma laurina, Brickellia californica, Galium angustifolium, Yucca whipplei, Dudleya lanceolata, Datura wrightii, Eriophyllum confertiflorum, Toxicodendron diversilobum, Nicotiana glauca, Ambrosia acanthicarpa, Malacothrix saxalilis tenuifolia, Achnatherum coronatum, Marah acrocarpus, Conyza canadensis, Lotus scoparius, Rhus integrifolia, Ricinus communis, Ailanthus altissima, Baccharis salicifolia, Phacelia cicutaria hispida, Ceratonia siliqua, Bromus diandrus, B. madritensis rubens, Hirschfeldia incana, Erodium cicutarium, Avena barbata, Mentzelia micrantha and Sonchus oleraceus.
