Locality Cultivated in Mung garden N of Yuba City.
HabitatCultivated in Mung garden N of Yuba City. Called 'Laotian Mtn. Rice'. Origin from Fresno where grown in irrigated, non-flooded rows for last 5-6 years. Originally smuggled in from Laos as seed. Ripening uneven, with individuals having multiple culms. Clumps of >1 ind. +- 3 ft. tall.
