Locality Colorado Desert; Chocolate-Chuckwalla Mountains region; Corn Springs Campground in the Chuckwalla Moutains. Canyon southwest of Campground. Near 33deg37'32'N, 115deg19'35'W elevation 1574 ft to 33deg36'52'N, 115deg19'54'W, elevation 1800 feet.

HabitatGeneral collecting along canyon bottom and slopes. Granitic rocky slopes and rocky sandy canyon bottoms. With some nice benches above canyon. Plant associates are: Larrea tridentata, Ambrosia dumosa, Fouquieria splendens, Opuntia basilaris, Encelia farinosa, Olneya tesota, Acacia greggii, Cercidium floridum, Ephedra aspera, and Hyptis emoryi. Plus many annuals. Plants growing on sandy soil in canyon bottom.
