Locality Northern High Sierra Nevada. Plumas National Forest; near Road 21N25 in the southeastern corner of Watson Ridge, 1.0 km north-northeast of the mouth of Kenebeck Creek at Fall River and Nelsons Crossing.

HabitatIn a west-facing open 5-8 year old timber plantation, thick with logging slash, Madia gracilis, Campanula prenanthoides, Pteridium aquilinum, Trientalis latifolia, Agoseris grandiflora, young incense cedar, Douglas-fir, and Ponderosa pines. Flowers blue; only a few plants, along adjacent road cut bank.
