Habitat | Generally disturbed southeast-facing slope of soft decomposed granite; opening in mixed conifer forest (Douglas-fir, black oak, Pondersoa pine, canyon live oak, incense cedar, tanoak, deerbrush, white-leaf manzanita); with Clarkia mosquinii, dry annual grasses, Monardella lanceolata, Lotus corniculatus, Rumex acetosella, Eriogonum nudum, Lotus purshianus. Plants very sticky, smelly; when collected, pressed, and dried they leave an oily but not sticky impression. | ||||
