Locality High Cascade Range. Near end of Road 29N02Y, 0.8 km southwest of confluence of Panther Creek and North Arm Rice Creek; 1.2 km northeast of Blue Lake.

HabitatOpen forest (thinned -- white fir, red fir, western white pine), gently sloping to the east. In slowly-draining spots; generally disturbed ground; these spots with Deschampsia elongate, Carex fracta, C. whitneyi, C. rossii, Luzula comosa. Plants forming small clumps, uncommon here.
