Locality Los Angeles Basin: Verdugo Mountains Region: Along trail that comes up from Morning Glow Way off of La Tuna Canyon Rd. city of Sun Valley.
HabitatAlong ridgetop in open sunny dry area, with Ceanothus crassifolius, Heteromeles arbutifolia, Artemisia californica, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Salvia mellifera, Malosma laurina, Marah macrocarpus and Phacelia cicutaria hispida. North slope near ridgetop in shade of Ceanothus crassifolius, with other shade or northern slope species of Pterostegia drymarioides, Cryptantha microstachys, Galium aparine and Eucrypta chrysanthemifolia chrysanthemifolia.
