Locality Transverse Ranges; Verdugo Mountains region: North side of mountains: Off the south side of the 210 freeway between La Tuna Canyon Road and Lowell Ave. in the city of Tujunga.

HabitatGrowing along shoulder and on the crystalline bedrock cliff of the freeway cut. About 10 plants scattered, just too the east of the mass of Cytisus striatus that's near the La Tuna Canyon Road offramp. some plants invasive into the chaparral, characteristic of the other Cytisus and the Spartium junceum that its affiliated with. White flower shrub about 2-3 feet tall.
