Associated plants include; Pinus jeffreyi, Calocedrus decurrens, Artemisia tridentata, A. dracunculus, Tetradymia canescens, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Salvia pachyphylla, Gilia leptantha leptantha, Eriogonum davidsonii, Bouteloua gracilis and Lotus argyraeus argyraeus. Plants have white flowers.
