Locality Transverse Ranges: San Gabriel Mountains: Big Santa Anita Canyon; ca. 1/4 mile down from the tributary of Winter Creek, east of Chantry Flat.
Elevation 518 m
HabitatShady riparian canyon, with cabins and introduced vegetation. Large trees are, most dominant Alnus rhombifolia, less dominant are Umbellularia californica, Acer macrophyllum and ficus carica. Other associates are Hedera helix (some are growing up trunk of trees into the canopy), Vinca major and Ageratina adenophora. Sprawling over rocks, Brush, and down the concrete debris dams.
