HabitatRiparian Woodland in Yellow Pine Forest. Small size plant, annual, on damp sand, south edge of the [river]. Uncommon, only one plant seen. Flowers yellow.

Notes<coords cont.: NE1/4>; Other Notes: Sexton 2011 annotation label says: Mimulus sp. nov. This form of Mimulus has square stems which differs from typical M. laciniatus. Microsatellite analysis of square stem plants collected from the Bald Rock area shows that this form is within the M. guttatus complex but not within the M. laciniatus group. Paratype label says: as cited in Sexton, K.G. Ferris and Schoening, 2013. Madrono 60(3): 236-242.;
