Locality Six Rivers NF, ca 4 mi NNW of Gasquet Mtn. Along Low Divide Rd (USFS Rd 19N01) 1.7 rd mi N of its jcn with rd going S to Gasquet Mtn. On flat top of ridge between Copper Creek and N Fork Smith River.
Elevation 716 m
HabitatOn flat top of ridge. Open areas on rocky serpentine soil, in open forest of stunted Jeffrey pine, Douglas fir, and knobcone pine, with scattered shrubby California bay, shrub tanoak, low pinemat manzanita, huckleberry oak, and Rhamnus californica subsp. occidentalis. Other associates: Lomatium howellii, Aspidotis densa, Whippleya modesta, Agrostis exarata var. monolepis, Carex sp (resembles C. rossii), Zigadenus sp and Perideridia sp.
