HabitatRidge top. Open yellow pine forest (Jeffrey pine, Ponderosa pine, juniper--burned last year); with scattered Wyethia mollis, Ceanothus prostratus, Balsamorhiza deltoidea, Arctostaphylos patula, Cercocarpus ledifolius, Monardella odoratissima subsp. pallida. Flowers very pale yellow with light flush of violet on top and bottom sides.
