Locality Thousand Lakes Wilderness. Magee Lake; on S shore of the lake below cliff.
Elevation 2200 m
HabitatOn S shore of the lake below cliff at the edge of a densely shaded area right in front of a melting snowbank. Plants just starting to flower. Only saw about five plants here, but numbers difficult to tell because some may be under the snow. Forest canopy composed of Tsuga mertensiana, with some Abies magnifica var. magnifica and Pinus monticola. Other associate was Phyllodoce breweri.
