Locality Vicinity of Antelope Valley, Huffmaster Road, and headwaters of Lurline Creek. Near bottom of secluded E-W trending side-canyon.
Elevation 167 m
HabitatNear bottom of secluded E-W trending side-canyon at blue oak woodland-annual grassland edge. On N-facing moderate slope in semi-shade of blue oak woodland, in crumbly clay soil with scattered Arctostaphylos manzanita. Herbaceous associates include Achillea millefolium, Geranium molle, Madia gracilis, Galium spp. and annual grasses. Corolla tube has upper and lower sets of stamens, but separated by only 1mm or less in approximate center of tube. Fruits appear very appressed to stem in live plants.
