HabitatMeadow/spring on rocky north-facing slope; surrounded by Douglas-fir dominated mixed conifer forest (also sugar pine, incense cedar, big-leaf maple, mountain white-thorn); soggy mossy sedgey, shallow soil. Plants forming loose clumps; the most common sedge here.
