Locality Sierra Nevada Range, west of Hwy 32 between Chico and Forest Ranch within Big Chico Creek Ecological Reserve (BCCER). In ravine just east of Chico Canyon Road, as it parallels Chico Creek, about half a mile north of BCCER's southern boundary.
Elevation 259 m
HabitatPlants in wet ravine. This group of plants are about twice the size of any other of its species encountered in this area, a highly common fern scattered most everywhere.
