HabitatEast bank of [river]. Moist sand of littoral zone on gravel bar; infrequent with Cyperus spp., Eleocharis obtusa, Crypsus schoenoides, Rorippa curvisiliqua, Eragrostis spp., Kickxia elatine, Lindernia dubia, Veronica sp., Mollugo verticillata and others. [2005 S. Galen Smith annotation label says 'Perianth bristles ca. = achene'].
