Locality High Cascade Range. East-facing slope of ridge overlooking North Fork Feather River and Caribou Road, about 2.6 km north of confluence of East Branch North Fork Feather River; along Road 26N26 3.4 km from Caribou Road.

HabitatEast-facing slope of ridge; along road. Steep southeast-facing slope in mixed conifer forest (Douglas-fir, Ponderosa pine, incense cedar, black oak, deerbrush); forest burned last year. Partial shade already here before the fire. Flowers light blue to almost white.
