Locality High Cascade Range. 1.6 km southeast of southeast corner of Medicine Lake; east side of Road 49 (44N75) 0.2 km north of Road 44N17. Drainage below the road.

HabitatOn the east side of the road. Dry drainage below the road, partially open in forest of lodgepole pine and white fir; also Carex halliana, C. whitneyi. Flowers very pale yellow, with yellow-orange banner spot; plants with several erect stems from a buried caudex; leaves gray-green.
