Locality Found along the walking down the south rim trail located on the east side of Big Chico Creek. Located down from the green gate and left at the split in the trail to a seep area.

HabitatWithin the chaparral/mixed woodland ecosystem. Seep area. In an opening from the understory of trees and shrubs such as Cercis occidentalis, Quercus sp., Lithocarpus densiflora, Pinus sabiniana.
