HabitatOpening in forest of Douglas-fir, black oak, Ponderosa pine, sugar pine; especially on mineral soil. Corolla white to salmon; petals 4-lobed with deep divisions; the outer lobes only slightly shorter than the inner; tips of lobes rounded or +- squared.
