HabitatIn vernal pool/swale complex (probably old creek channels) on terrace next to Rice Creek in grazed annual grassland. In wet bed of swale with Navarretia leucocephala subsp. leucocephala, Gratiola ebracteata, Juncus balticus, and Rumex pulcher. Most individuals with 7-10 ray petals; has some characteristics of R. occidentalis and R. californicus.
