HabitatAt site of old homestead, on flat terrace surrounded by Blue oak woodland. Several trees <30 ft tall, in small rows, with Robinia pseudoacacia, Juglans californica, Populus tremuloides, Marrubium vulgare, Syrigna vulgaris, and old almond trees. Bark thick and furrowed; fls fragrant, lavender, with staminodal column nearly black.
