HabitatAmong 'hummocky' roll-ing hills just N of Rice Creek, in grazed annual grassland. On N-facing slope in seepy drainage swale, in water and wet soil with Callitriche heterophylla, Sagina decumbens, Plagiobothrys stipitatus var. micranthus, Juncus bufonius var. bufonius, Montia fontana subsp. chondrosperma, Veronica peregrina subsp. xalapensis, and Trifolium willdenovii. Also common in deeper vernal swales, old creek channels/oxbows on terraces adjacent to creek and in parts of creek bed.
