Locality About 23 air miles W of Red Bluff, vicinity of Pettyjohn Rd and S. Fork Cottonwood Creek.

HabitatIn chaparral/Blue oak-Foothill pine ecotone, in riparian strip in side-cyn, within several feet of small creek. On damp shaley soil with Scutellaria siphocampyloides, Asclepias fascicularis, Datisca glomerata, poison oak and mosses. Very common along entire length of creek bed.
