HabitatAlong road. Open rocky area in mixed conifer forest (Douglas-fir/mixed conifer/tanoak dry); with Iris hartwegii, Galium bolanderi, Cordylanthus tenuis. No ray flowers, disk flowers yellow; plants with many +/- erect stems from caudex.
