HabitatSteep south-facing rocky opening in red fir forest; with Monardella odoratissima, Wyethia mollis, Balsamorhiza, Eriophyllum lanatum, Linum, Galium grayanum, etc. Plants forming cushions with many erect peduncles; ligules white to very pale purple, disk flowers yellow.
