Locality Pettyjohn Rd. 8.9 mi west of its junction with Cannon, Vestal, and Reeds Creek roads, west of Red Bluff and south of Hwy 36. On a bank on the south edge of Guyre Creek.

HabitatFoothill Woodland. Large population on a steep bank of decomposed mudstone on the south edge of the creek in an area of grassland and blue oak savanna. Tube maroon, throat yellow, limb pale violet shading to white in the center or completely white in some plants, anthers yellow.
