Locality Upper slopes, east-facing, in North Fork Feather River; along Hwy 70 1.1-1.3 mi northeast of Jarbo Gap.

HabitatUpper slopes, east-facing. Road cutbank through red soils, opening through mixed conifer forest of Douglas-fir, ponderosa pine, black oak, madrone, deerbrush; Clarkia concinna is nearby. Petals deep lavender with various amounts of dark speckling at base of limb, with red spot at base of claw; anthers deep lavender.
