Locality Northwest side of Sacramento Valley. Thomes Creek Ecological Reserve. CDFG parcel on the S side of Gyle Rd. NW of Corning. On the bed of a drainage ca. 100 ft S of the intermittent stream and ca. 0.2 mi E of the dirt lane along the W side of the parcel.
Elevation 103 m
HabitatValley and Foothills Grassland, Corning gravelly loam soils of an alluvial fan deposit. Locally abundant on the drying bed of a shallow drainage. Grayish plants (densely hairy) and greenish plants (moderately hairy) grow in dense stands side by side.
