|Habitat||Valley and Foothills Grassland, Corning gravelly loam soils of an alluvial fan deposit. Locally abundant on the drying bed of a shallow drainage. Grayish plants (densely hairy) and greenish plants (moderately hairy) grow in dense stands side by side.|
