HabitatOpen mixed coniferous forest often dominated by ponderosa pine (with sugar pine, incense cedar, Douglas-fir, white fir). Gravelly with little duff. Corolla lobes rotate, bright yellow above and pale yellow below; sepals and stems light pink.
