Locality Dales Lake Ecological Reserve. Cascade Range Foothills. W side of Manton Rd. (A6) ca. 1.5 mi n of Dales Station on Hwy. 36, ca. 14 mi ne of Red Bluff. Inside the fenceline just n of the borrow pit.

HabitatEcotone between Blue Oak Woodland and Valley and Foothills Grassland (Wildflower Field), basalt substrate. Localized population growing in disturbed soil inside the fenceline. Anthers and stigma at top of tube; throat without intruding hairy bumps.
