Locality Near the west side of the South Fork of the Feather River, on the north side of the dirt road, about 1 (air) mile south-west of Pilot Peak.

HabitatYellow Pine Forest. Normal stems from a many stemmed plant (50 or more stems), on dry bare rocky serpentine soil, open bare serpentine area in forest, near river, on the side of the road. Common, only on the serpentine. Flowers yellow.
