Habitat | This HERB was collected from a CHAPARRAL OR BRUSHLAND in the general vicinity of a OPENING IN BRUSH on a SOUTH exposure as a member of the HERB LAYER in a BUDDING, FLOWERING AND FRUITING state. The population was located on the UPPER THIRD of a ridge system that had a 10 percent slope, a SMOOTH vertical slope shape and a SMOOTH horizontal slope shape. It was growing on soil having a VERY GRAVELLY texture composed mainly of SERPENTINE rock with a RESIDUAL origin. |
