Locality Warner Mountains. Steep west-facing slope above the 64 Road (39N01 - the road to Patterson Campground), 0.2 km north-northeast of crossing of East Creek; between Peterson Meadow and Long Valley.

HabitatSteep east-facing spring, open rocky ground, in open forest of white fir and Ponderosa pine. Ray flowers bright white to very pale lavender, disk flowers bright yellow; plants forming rhizomatous patches, occasional.
