HabitatBroad rounded ridgetop. Open yellow pine forest with Ceanothus prostratus, Balsamorhiza sagittata, Arctostaphylos patula, Ericameria, Wyethia mollis. Bract and sepal tips bright red; leaves crinkle-edged; mostly growing in Ceanothus prostratus.
