Locality Sacramento Valley. At N end of Chico, just S of the Chico Airport, along Sycamore Creek, ca 900 ft downstream (W) of its crossing under the Cohasset Hwy footbridge.
Elevation 55 m
HabitatLow flat floodplain on S side of channel excavated and leveled in a 2010 sediment removal project. In moist gravelly and silty subsoil in intermittently flooded shallow basin ca 400 ft W of large Valley Oak, with planted Juncus balticus, J. xiphioides, Carex barbarae and scattered volunteer weedy species including Lotus corniculatus.
