Locality Sacramento Valley. N side of Elder Creek channel, ca 1.5 air mi NW of its confluence with the Sacramento River and 0.6 air mi E of the San Benito Ave. bridge over Elder Ck at the town of Gerber.

HabitatAt inside edge of pronounced curve in channel, With widely scattereed native and non-native forbs such as Xanthium strumarium, Heterotheca oregona, Polanisia dodecandra subsp. trachysperma and M. guttatus. Very occasional in this channel; most likely a waif from Inner coast Range foothills.
