Locality Sacramento Valley. N side of Elder Creek channel, ca 1.1 air mi NW of its confluence with the Sacramento River and 1.15 air mi E of the San Benito Ave. bridge over Elder Ck at the town of Gerber. At inside edge of pronounced bend in channel.

HabitatAt inside edge of pronounced bend in channel, on lower S-facing creek bank, in dry soil with rather dense, mostly weedy non-native herbaceous vegetation such as Brassica nigra, Heliotropium europaeum, Bermudagrass and Bromus diandrus. Top of one-foot-tall plant. Occas. on weedy banks adjacent to upland terraces.
