Locality Northern High Sierra Nevada. Plumas National Forest; about halfway between Summit Hill and New Bullards Bar Reservoir (North Yuba River), near Road 18N01A close to its lower end.

HabitatSouth-southeast sloping mixed conifer forest thinned to a +-open canopy of Ponderosa pine and occasional Douglas-fir; lots of tanoak and black oak stump sprouting; also Chamaebatia foliolosa, Ceanothus lemmonii, Bromus spp., Carex multicaulis. Petals small, narrow, bright white.
