Locality High North Coast Ranges. Coffee Mill Flat, along Road M1 8.2 road km north of Road M61.

HabitatLarge open meadow, the meadow with Ponderosa pine dominated mixed conifer forest on southeast side and Oregon oak woodland on northwest side; several very large Ponderosa and Jeffrey pines around the edges; strip of willow shrubs along southeast edge; wet middle of meadow dominated by Carex spp. and Poa pratensis. At edge of forest (Ponderosa pine, Oregon oak) around the upper edge of the meadow. Flowers bright white with hint of pink; plants uncommon.
