Habitat | 102 plants in 3 clusters, mid- to late-flower. Montane coniferous forest. In general this section is more chaparral under lines; only sheltered areas are forest. Decomposed granite, and boulders in area, east facing lopes, about 50%, with little duff (1 inch or less), roadcuts under powerlines. Overstory is Pseudotsuga menziesii, Quercus chrysolepis, and Q. kelloggii. Associates are C. rhomboidea, Mimulus aurantiacus, Calocedrus decurrens, Castilleja applegatei, Eriophyllum, lanatum, Lotus oblongifolius, Vulpia myuros. | ||||
